Wedding Wednesday: Paper Timeline

Whether you are tomorrow’s bride, today’s bride or yesterday’s bride, I hope there’s no end to indulging on wedding blogs! I’m barely tomorrow’s bride and I’ve been stalking wedding blogs for the past four years. I guess I just feel like I have been focusing a lot on today’s bride that I think this calls for some posts geared towards newly engaged gals! Which is why I am going to discuss your stationery timeline {which will be different from your overall wedding timeline but should be worked in with it, of course} and tell you about some of my favourite wedding organizers.

9 – 12 months… Research invitation styles and order Save the Date cards

6 – 9 months… Send out Save the Date cards

6 months… Come in for a consultation to get a quote and design your invitation

4 – 6 months… Confirm your quote and order your invitations

8 – 12 weeks… Mail invitations and order day-of stationery

3 – 4 weeks… Response cards will start arriving

Post wedding… Send out personalized Thank You cards

Now that you have what your next year of wedding planning looks like, you will probably need a handy wedding planning binder or notebook to keep organized. Here are some of my top picks…

1. Russell & Hazel Wedding Organizer – They make staying organized very trendy!

2. Ecojot Wedding Journal – I love this very simple notebook, especially for the eco-friendly Bride!

3. Colin Cowie Wedding Planner & Keepsake Organizer – This organizer/keepsake bible is from the mastermind of wedding planning, Colin Cowie
